Program Manager – Information Technology

The Program Manager is focused on the bigger picture and coordinating the scope, schedule, and cost across Tandigm’s various IS&T projects. Tandigm is embarking on several large information technology projects in 2020. These interconnected projects complement each other to achieve Tandigm’s long-term business strategy. This individual will develop a consolidated view of the dynamic workloads and priorities across all projects. The Program Manager oversees and promotes coordination across these projects to manage the interdependencies between them. They identify and mitigate risks and manage financial constraints. Also, the Program Manager handles escalated issues that are outside the scope of an individual project.

Essential Functions

  • Demonstrate Tandigm’s commitment to superior customer service with internal and external customers working closely with them to understand their capabilities and future needs
  • Work with business stakeholders to validate project goals and timelines
  • Work with third party vendors and consultants to stay updated on project status
  • Monitor the status of major IS&T projects (scope, schedule, and cost)
  • Develop a consolidated view across all major IS&T projects (backlogs and blockers)
  • Escalate issues that are outside the scope of an individual project
  • Oversees and promotes coordination across major IS&T projects to manage the interdependencies
  • Mitigate risks and manage financial constraints
  • Use tact and negotiation skills to manage competing priorities in a dynamic technical environment
  • Comply with HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations in protecting PHI (Protected Health Information), and
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline

Experience

Relevant Project Manager and Program Manager experience, coupled with healthcare experience.

  • Knowledge of the health care industry including population health
