Senior Accountant

Presently we’re looking for a Senior Accountant, based out of our West Conshohocken, PA office (remote until further notice).  You must be  within a commutable distance to our West Conshohocken, PA office.


This Senior Accountant was created due to growth of the organization and is a key position reporting to the Accounting Finance Manager.  This position is expected to have high visibility to the Financial Controller and CFO.  The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial in approach and able to thrive in a fast moving “start-up” environment as well as in a corporate “shared service” organization. The individual will be a strong team player, communicator and business partner, demonstrating Tandigm Health’s commitment to superior customer service, quality, care, and concern for teammates and stakeholders.

Essential Functions

Primary responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the physician incentive program with annual payouts between $30-$50M, create incentive scorecards and related analytics to ensure the program engages, enables and empowers our Physicians
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve operational issues as they relate to physician incentive program or financial reporting
  • Support core finance and accounting processes
  • Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and assists with month-end financial summaries
  • Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls and their application
  • Assist in the annual financial audit and preparation of tax return work papers

Support financial planning, analysis and special projects:

  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the division’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan
  • Research variances from budget/forecast to determine root cause and enable implementation of corrective action
  • Communicate technical and financial concepts to internal and external constituents, both verbally and in writing
  • Provide analytical support and additional duties for ad hoc company projects and initiatives

  • Uses, protects, and discloses Tandigm patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, business management or equivalent work experience


  • Three to five years of financial or accounting experience.
  • World-class organizational skills, encompassing an extremely high attention to detail, a strong ownership-ethic, and intense focus on accuracy and accountability.
  • A self-starter who is also a team player with demonstrated abilities to collaborate effectively across the business

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strongly demonstrated:

  • Knowledge of Accounting processes and systems, including GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting
  • Demonstrated communication skills with internal customers
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with functional departments outside of Finance.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and quantitative analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
