Senior Director, IT Quality Assurance

The Senior Director, IT Quality Assurance, based out of the West Conshohocken, PA office (temporarily remote), is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of Tandigm Health’s IT systems. This role will evaluate, test, and validate Tandigm’s software and/or IT services that support Tandigm’s internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Director, Quality Assurance is responsible for evaluating performance and recommending product or service improvements in order to continuously improve Tandigm Health’s IT products and services. This role will also ensure compliance of Tandigm’s systems in accordance with all regulatory bodies.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain product quality by creating, monitoring, and enforcing quality standards that align with both company procedures and government requirements
  • Responsible for the creation of quality documentation systems and update as policies and procedures evolve.
  • Works closely with cross functional teams, subject matter experts and development to understand metric needs to engage continuous improvements
  • Leads IS&T metrics initiatives
  • Develop a metrics strategy for software quality assurance in an agile scrum environment
  • Development of lagging and leading indicator reports
  • Performs the research and information gathering necessary to define, design, create, and document business requirements and specifications as it relates to the delivery of software and quality assurance
  • Plays a key role in educating other departments on reporting and analytics solutions
  • Develops SQL stored procedures, functions, views, tables and other database objects as defined by business partner requirements and analytics leadership to support overall corporate objectives
  • Identifies and defines improvements to existing reporting data sources
  • Manages and maintains current report catalog including automating manual reports as well as improvements to existing reports
  • Creates and maintains documentation regarding reporting and associated data
  • Works well both independently and within team setting to define processes, coordinate work, and manage communications across the teams
  • Fulfills ad-hoc data/reporting requests as needed
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Comply with HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations when using and reporting PHI (Protected Health Information).
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Epidemiology, Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics or other related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Working experience with Quality Assurance is required.
  • Experience in requirements gathering.
  • Experience in Process improvement.
  • Proven work experience in software development life cycle.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive business requirements.
  • Knowledge of software methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Ability to facilitate working sessions with business stakeholders.

Essential Technical/Motor Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, detailed and proactive; responds to requests in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborative and resourceful; functions successfully in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare industry, including Medicare and managed care.

  • Ability to travel to sites within the region as needed.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as MS Project and Access.
