Senior Manager of Application Systems Management

The Senior Manager of Application Systems Management plays a critical role in evolving the company’s solutions and technical assets to support the organization’s operational needs. The candidate will directly support a team of analysts who work closely with the business areas to understand business enhancements to existing applications and systems. As the liaison between the Business Team and the Development & Operations Team, the Application Systems Management Team gathers and develops technical requirements to deliver the business need.

The Senior Manager of Application Systems Management must have exceptional interpersonal and critical thinking skills, and an analytical and inquisitive mind. The candidate must be familiar with emerging technologies and the latest healthcare industry trends to lead the design of new and innovative system enhancements.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts as they work with key stakeholders to understand their business objectives and identify gaps, opportunities, and challenges with their existing business processes.
  • Work with key stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions that meet their needs and support their future business objectives.
  • Demonstrates knowledge in project management with the ability to manage large complex projects.
  • Work with the IS&T Development & Operations Team to help lead their efforts to deliver initiatives across the entire Software Development Lifecycle ensuring the solution meets the stakeholder’s expectations and is delivered on-time.
  • Capable of working in cross-functional teams where resources and tasks are allocated and disbanded as needed based on the project life cycle.
  • Comply with HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations when using and reporting PHI (Protected Health Information).
  • Be aware of healthcare industry best practices to create and maintain Tandigm’s technical assets.
  • Uses, protects, and discloses Tandigm’s patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards and protects Tandigm assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference.
  • Adheres to and responsible to abide by all information security policies, processes, and/or activities.
  • Reports security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization to management.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.


  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field


  • Valid U.S. State Driver’s License as well as proof of liability and property damage insurance on any vehicle used for business purposes.


  • 10 years of experience in designing and delivering impactful solutions.
  •  Experience in requirements gathering.
  • Experience in Process improvement
  • Proven work experience in software development life cycle.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive business requirements.
  • Knowledge of software methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience facilitating working sessions with business stakeholders.
