Sr. Director Business Transformation

Under the direction of the VP of Business Transformation, the SD Business Transformation is expected to lead in the development as well as the end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives in support Tandigm’ s annual operating plan. This role will be responsible for engaging with all areas of Tandigm’s business in order to identify opportunities for improvement and create efficient processes in relation to Tandigm Health’s Multi-payor program, contracting, medical cost management, clinical initiatives, and external growth opportunities.

Essential Functions

  • Develops and leads the execution of business initiatives aligned with Tandigm’s short and long-term strategies.
  • Acts as the key interaction point for Business Transformation initiatives with internal and external stakeholders across various organizational levels.
  • Exhibit flexible mindset to alter approach as conditions change.
  • Responsible for success of project management deliverables including: 
  • Definition of project scope, objectives, stakeholder assessment and technical feasibility
  • Creates and maintains a detailed project plan to monitor and communicate progress
  • Facilitate the planning of recurring meetings, including scheduling, preparing meeting materials, coordinating and managing follow-ups
  • Develop comprehensive use cases and/or process flows 
  • Gather, analyze and document business requirements to ensure solution meets business needs
  • Report and escalate risks and issues to management as necessary 
  • Successfully manage the relationship with all stakeholders by motivating and resolving conflicts at the project level
  • Engage analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to problems that may come up during a typical project implementation
  • Identify internal and/or external training needs and manage user training 
  • Drive more complex special requests that may include research, investigation, evaluation and documentation of findings
  • Keep abreast on emerging technologies as it relates to enabling new business capabilities

  • Appropriately engage the Director of Compliance to ensure projects and activities maintain Tandigm’s compliance with federal, state, and/or local regulators and laws, and are within Tandigm’s contracted obligations to all stakeholders
  • Uses, protects, and discloses Tandigm’s patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education

  •  Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience

Experience

  •  Minimum 7 years of related work experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a project management role
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams in the delivery of new business capabilities
  •  Proven working experience in project management in the healthcare and/or the information technology sector is a plus

  •  Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  •  Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as MS Project

  •  Ability to effectively influence peers and other stakeholders without direct reporting relationships
