A Culture of Inclusion

We strive to move beyond traditional diversity and inclusion programs by taking actions intended to combat racism and bias inside and outside of the company. This includes conscious examination and upgrade of business initiatives, relationships, and policies to expand engagement with minority clinicians, patients, vendors, and other parties.

This strategic anti-racist agenda will help achieve other goals, such as the creation of an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected — a place where every teammate can be themselves so they can reach their potential and help us achieve our business goals.

This level of change is hard work that requires support from top management, adoption by every department, and a willingness on the part of each teammate to examine their own behaviors and strive to support our common cultural goals.

Creating a Welcoming Environment

A Solid Foundation

We are built on an ADEI culture that provides equal opportunities for teammates, patients, practices, and vendors. We foster an atmosphere of belonging so everyone can be their authentic selves, and we encourage the same from our partners.

Positive Disruption

We model social justice principles, employ anti-racist policies, and proactively disrupt healthcare in the communities we serve. We are leaders in challenging health inequities for all of our patients.

An Ongoing Commitment

Our mission requires commitment – from all of our teammates – to confront bias in all forms, support a diverse workforce, and treat everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any of the many other qualities that make us a diverse and thriving organization.

Supplier Diversity

Each year we commit to spending a percentage of our budget with certified veteran-, woman-, and/or minority-owned businesses.

Workforce Dimensions

We regularly track the impact of our efforts in recruitment, retention and engagement to create and maintain a diverse workforce.

Employee Engagement

We survey teammates annually to collect feedback and better understand how we are doing in building a culture of belonging and inclusiveness.

Tgiving Food Drive 2023

Seasonal Giving and Support

Through the 2023 Holiday Basket raffle, 175 teammates raised over $6,400 for local charities. In addition, our donation drive for the Breathing Room Foundation provided Thanksgiving meals for eight local families dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

In April, teammates are invited to celebrate Earth Month by participating in local events, donating to environmental nonprofits, or simply planting a garden or taking a hike. Following Earth Month, we share teammate photos at our weekly staff Huddle to recognize our commitment to sustainability.

MANNA 2 2023

Community Service All Year Long

We’re committed to making a consistent impact in our communities — which is why we schedule at least two community service events per quarter. These events provide opportunities for employees to engage and give back on a national or local level.

Whether it’s volunteering time at MANNA, donating summer camp and back-to-school supplies for the St. James School, participating in our month-long blood drive to support the American Red Cross, or placing first in the Philadelphia Heart Walk “Move More Challenge,” we work together to support our community through service.
