The session will conclude with a Q&A session to share practical insights and AI experiences from throughout the Tandigm network.

Ainsley MacLean, MD, FACR is a neuroradiologist and the President and Founder of Ainsley Advisory Group. She previously served as Chief Medical Information Officer and Chief AI Officer at Kaiser Permanente, where she led the largest national AI scribe deployment in healthcare. During her tenure, she also launched Kaiser Permanente’s first enterprise AI strategy and the KP AI Center for Excellence, overseeing numerous digital health, telehealth, and AI tool deployments across the organization. Dr. MacLean has served as a keynote speaker, executive panelist, and invited expert on AI in healthcare, including clinical and operational leadership, health technology deployment strategies, and scaling innovation.

Nadia Smati, MD is an academic internist and Partner and Chief Research Officer at Ainsley Advisory Group. She previously served as Department Technology Lead at Kaiser Permanente, where she led frontline AI adoption efforts, including piloting an AI literacy curriculum for clinicians and leading and monitoring the first pilot use of AI technology in a residency program. As incoming academic faculty, she has designed and will teach one of the first structured GME courses on AI for primary care. Dr. Smati has delivered CME presentations, keynote talks, and national panels on physician adoption of AI tools, implementation strategy, and the role of safety and equity in AI for patient-centered care.
